The museum's collection of drawings consists primarily of studies for paintings now in the museum and Delacroix's last decorative projects: the Chapelle des Saints-Anges at the Église Saint-Sulpice. It also includes drawings by some of Delacroix's friends and colleagues (Lassalle-Bordes, Huet, Poterlet, Saint-Marcel, Colin). The museum's goal is to obtain all of Delacroix's prints. The lithographic stones for Hamlet and the corresponding prints are already part of its collection. In addition to the so-called interpretative prints, there is also a small number of works representing Delacroix or a member of his entourage (George Sand, Baudelaire ...).
