The Musée Delacroix is a place of memory, but also a place full of life with a collection that is enriched from year to year with new acquisitions. The museum bases its acquisition policy on the identity and history of the museum, with a focus on the work of Delacroix and other artists who have links with him.
While its attachment to the public establishment of the Musée du Louvre makes it possible for the museum to acquire major artworks, the support of the Société des Amis du Musée Eugène-Delacroix, in addition to public and private donors, is also a precious and vital asset.
The entire museum extends its warmest thanks and gratitude for their generosity.
